English
Yearly Goal: To make reading books a routine, which could be useful for enhancing vocabulary and grammar.
Quarter 1
This quarter in English we have learned mainly about human rights. How human rights apply to us all, and how they are controversial with several issues around the world concerning about believe and tradition. We have learned that the human rights were originally established by the UN back in 1948, to improve the welfare and equality of the people. We learned that though human rights apply to all people, the reason that not all countries agreed to its terms during it's establishment, some of these rights could still be violated.

CHOSEN WORK
In this quarter we have done several assignments, those are creating a short story, presentation, and an essay about a certain human right issue found in the world. My chosen work is my LGBT rights presentation, where I discussed about how LGBT inequality is an issue around the world, and how certain communities like this should deserve more equality around the world, and be respected. I was successful in delivering that message to my class during the presentation, debating with several people who don't believe they deserve it. I have chosen this work, because it is one of my best works for english this quarter, and I have been most successful in this work in conveying my overall message about LGBT equality. Please for whoever my read this, respect my thoughts and believes. I ask you to respect different perspectives around the world.
IMPROVEMENTS
Though my presentation is good, there are several things I want to improve from it next time. Those include the structure of the presentation, and preparation. Though the presentation itself was well organized, and structured. The way I delivered it was rather less structured, and sometimes came out of hand. Beginning at different points, for different things I wanted to say. I rather say that I sometimes just said a number of things, without considering structure. This is caused mainly because of the lack of preparation for my presentation, and my tired mood that day. I would improve this issue by preparing for the presentation more often, not just one time, where I a so tired I don't really care what I am preparing, and also to get a good night rest before the presentation. By sleeping early, and preparing several times before hand. I would know what exactly to say, when to say it, and present my presentation perfectly, being more understandable for my audience.
KEY CONCEPT: PERSPECTIVE
Learning about human rights this quarter has taught us a lot about our key concept which is perspective. Since we learned how different communities around the world have their perspective on human rights, and how they handle it. I know that different perspectives from different communities and societies around the world would make it difficult for human rights to apply to all people in this world, because they contradict with them. Different perspective is still one of the issues making human rights difficult to apply to all, and therefore still need something so that it one day could be recognized by all communities around the globe.
