Biblical Studies
Yearly Goal: To be able to understand different beliefs, and perspectives of other people on life.
Quarter 2
This quarter in Biblical Studies class, we explored more about the Biblical teaching on what it takes to become a disciple. In general we learned what a disciple was, which is a loyal person following a leader, and carrying out certain tasks for the leader. We focused also on what it is to be a disciple of Christ, and learned about the Great Commandment. Which was to spread the Word of God throughout the land, and make disciples of people found throughout ones missionaries. This topic overall helped us and increased our knowledge in what a disciple is.

Discipleship Test
Throughout this quarter we only conducted two different assignments, one of them was the test about discipleship, and the other was our yearly CAS (Community Action Service) assignment. From these two assignments I decided to chose the discipleship test, which tested our knowledge about the topic of discipleship, and all that we learned throughout the quarter. I chose this assignment not only because it was one of the best assignments conducted in the class, the only graded assignment throughout this quarter, but also because this assignment tested my understanding in the topic, which I found important. I find the topic of discipleship important to learn about, as it showed what it takes to be a disciple of Jesus, as well as a disciple in general. Usually meaning to sacrifice what you have in order to swear your loyalty to Christ. It also teaches us that a disciple shouldn't only be loyal, but also be able to spread out the word of God throughout the land and to do what is right, which is important in order for other people to also know about them. I chose this assignment as though the CAS teaches us to be good people too, by doing something for the community. The test tested our knowledge of being a good disciple, which would also help us become a good person to help the community we live in. Through teaching them the Word of God, and showing them the right way.
The criteria for this test, was simple knowledge and our understanding of the topic, as well as how well we were able to apply it. I think that I have chosen this work, because I was able to apply my knowledge of the topic well during the test, as well as understand its concepts, leading to my success. This lead me to conduct the test in a good manner, as it was easy for me to answer the questions, and overcome its obstacles. Obstacles such as difficult questions, where my knowledge on the topic was widely tested such as the essay based question at the back. Though I was able to write the essay, and finnish it. I doubted and believed after the test that it was made very poorly. This was because of the fact, that I had to write an essay, which I was poorly prepared for during the time of the test. I wrote as fast as I could with the limited time, and tried to make my points. Though I was finally able to do this as I in the end found a proper, yet loose and unstructured way to write the essay. In the end though I got quite a high mark for this section of the test, which I am still confused on how I got it. I hope to improve this next time though, by thinking more structure based, and on the point. So that I am able to write the essay easily, and neatly, understand the topic included, and know how to write it with confusion. As with structured thinking, by understanding what to say. I would know what to write in each paragraph of the essay, and how to continue the flow of ideas, with little confusion. Making me panic less next time when I would write the essay. This could also help me achieve the maximum grade for this section, improving my overall mark for test.
The key concept for this quarters Biblical Studies class is Relations. We learned and developed our knowledge of relations, through understanding what it takes to be a disciple of Jesus as well as God. By learning about discipleship, we learned how relations with God and faith with him should be improved, and that to be a disciple you should be willing to sacrifice anything including your life, to maintain that relationship. We also learned that relationship is important when one becomes a disciple of God, as with a good relation. One is able to understand the teachings and messages of God through Jesus Christ more, and able to spread them through the land more effectively through missionaries.
